Happy 8 months Ella Isabel!

Ella Isabel,

You turned 8 months old on Wednesday, and I just cannot believe the way that time has flown! You are all growing too quickly my sweet loves... I must figure out a way to put a stop to it!

Ella you have a sweet disposition and a gigantic smile! You love to see Mama and Daddy and Jackson and Mia. You squeal with delight when you see us and will start “talking” and pumping your legs and arms in excitement. You are sitting up so beautifully now and scootching around backwards…. You are up on all 4’s rocking back and forth, practicing crawling all of the time!

When Jackson or Mia take your toy, you hold your own by letting out the highest pitch scream ever. Grammy says you and Mia get your “high note” from me.

You are so cute the way you will look at us and lean your head way over to the side with the cutest smile on your face. You can say “Mama, Dada, Bubba and Hiii. You wave at everyone while we are out – like you are not already cute enough, you top it off with a “Hiiiiii!” and a wave!

You are a cuddly little pumpkin bean and you are always reaching out to me with a smile so I will hold you.

And, my sweet little girl, I always will.

Love,
Mama

Ballerina Miabel!

Mia went to her very 1st class ever on Thursday afternoon! She was sooo excited!

Tuesday, Aunt Angie, Sophia and Soren came to visit and gave her a ballerina tutu for Christmas. We also watched sophia's adorable video of her ballet recital. The ENTIRE time Mia kept crying and saying "My wanna be in there!"
So... we got her in a class locally and she tried it out.

When it was time to go, she was so quick to get herself dressed and in the car with her seatbelt on - i have never seen her move so fast!

She loved it! There was only one other little girl in the class and she was telling her teacher a million times "My in the princess class! My in the dance class!"

They did stretches to begin with and she was sitting doing her butterfly stretches and all of the sudden she popped up and started dancing while staring at herself in the big mirror and said “MY HAVE TO DANCE!!!!!!!!” the teacher was so sweet and was saying “Oh Mia! What a beautiful dancer you are!” (She was actually so impressed with Mia’s twirling and told me that she reminded her of HER when she was a little girl! So that was nice).

She would shout out “ 5 6 7 8!!!!!!!!” just like the teacher. And when the teacher said (referring to tapping her toe in tap dancing) “Show me your toe Mia!” Mia gave her dimpled smile, put her foot in the teachers face and said “Here’s my TOE!!”
The teacher was trying to get them to play a “freeze dance” game where they were supposed to freeze when the music stopped… she struggled. She was just soooo funny!!!!!!!!!!! She would shout out “The music stopped! My have to dance!! Turn it back on!”

Mia will start going regularly in the new year. She was so deliciously cute I could just eat her up!

Jackson's School Christmas Program & Party

Jackson sang in his school Christmas program. He was sooo cute! They sang a song that said "What did the cows in the manger say? Baby Jesus in the Hay! MOOO MOOO MOOO MOO! Baby Jesus we love you!" and "Away in the Manger"
He did a terrific job and sang out with a very cute expression on his face!

There are pictures of all the boys in his class and all of the girls. Mia jumped right on, she thinks this is her class too!

His school Christmas party was fun and now he is all done with Bracken Christian school and will begin homeschooling in January with the same curriculum he was using at Bracken. We are looking forward to it!

Happy 6 months Ella Isabel!

Ella had her 6 month well check on Tuesday and she did beautifully!
She is on target with all of her milestones and a sweet little baby girl!

She weighed 15 lbs 4 oz. , the 26th percentile. Her length was 27"!! She is in the 82nd percentile for height! She grew almost 3 inches in 2 months! Tall and thin the dr. said.

Unfortunately she still has a clogged tear duct and will have to have it probed at the pediatric optomologist.

Ella is just the smiliest happiest little Sugarbelle we could ever have hoped for! Her big brother and sister make her laugh often (and cry occassionally!). These 3 make our lives so complete and Phil and I are so thankful!
