And she slept right through it!

Today was Ella's very first trip to the pool, and she slept right through it! Much like her very first birthday party when she was 2.5 weeks old for her Aunt Mimi. We went on our typical family walk this evening, and then topped it off at the pool! Ah! nice!

Ella will be 5 weeks old tomorrow and tomorrow is her official due date! Way to go! Enjoy the pics of the family at the pool... and yes, that IS a swimming suit Ella is wearing! Size 0-3 months! She's a tiny little thing, huh? :)

(p.s. if you click on any picture, it will make it bigger!)

Ella's 1st Time to go to church!

This morning was Ella's 1st time to go to church! She came early with Mama and attended her 1st "band rehearsal"! She was very good and slept right through it! (The picture is blurry, but you can see her in her carseat!) We forgot to get a family picture, but still got a few of her at home afterwards (Mia was already taking a nap, so she missed the photo op!) Everyone thought she was beautiful and many asked "How many days old is she?" and seemed shocked that she was a month old and so tiny!

Hoity Toity Birthday party!

Jackson was invited to a birthday party of one of his little friends in his gymnastics class. There were PONY RIDES!! He came home and told us that for HIS party he wanted a train pinata and pony rides... we laughed and said we didn't have any ponies, so he told us "OK, then I just want a train to come to my birthday!" Ah, if only wishes so big were so easy!

Look! My new baby!

Mia is in love with baby dolls! She plays with them all day, holding them, kissing them, covering them with her blankies, giving them stroller rides and carrying them in the Moses basket! Here she is busy with her newest baby!

Happy Mama's Day to me!!!

Mother's day was fabulous this year! How could it not be? My lifelong dreams are complete with three children! THREE CHILDREN! We all 5 spent the weekend together. Phil took us out to dinner (first time with 5!) on Friday night and it was GOOD and a success! The kids and Phil bought me a new rocking chair for the living room - one i hope to rock ALL my babies in for a LONG time. Here are some pictures from Mother's day morning -- it was the girls first time to be dressed alike! In something MAMA made! *brushing my shoulder with pride!!* How cute are they! (Oh! and that's the new rocker they are sitting in!)
P.S. - i think Ella is a bit concerned she is being held by 2 kids under the age of THREE!!!!

Sweet Baby Girl!

This is sweet Ella Isabel when she was two and a half weeks old! Sweet, healthy, beautiful... just perfect!

Pretty Ella Isabel

Ella Isabel arrived one month ago on April 20, 2006! She made her grand entrance at 3:44 am, which meant NO sleep for mama and little sleep for Daddy! It was a long and HARD labor, but a super fast and easy delivery with no complications (I did need oxygen while pushing, which was scary), but she was my first baby to come out crying right away, MUSIC TO MY EARS!! She weighed the least of my 3 blessings - at 5lbs 10 oz., 18 1/4" long! She looks JUST like her brother and sister! Ella is a sweetie pie and a very easy baby, just like Mia Anabel was. Everyone is adjusting well and really enjoying a newborn in the house! Jackson shares his beloved "coldie" with her (his blanket) and Mia likes to bring the "blankies" to her too - and she also likes to take them from her! Both kids are constantly adorning Ella's head with kisses and Mia rubs her hair gently, just like Mama does to her. Sweet sweet! Ella is nursing well and that is a blessing, as preterm babies often have a rough start at it. Ella was born 5 weeks and 1 day early - Just like Mia Anabel, born 5 weeks and 3 days early (June 28, 2004, 5lbs 13. oz, 18.5") and Jackson born 4 weeks early (June 28, 2006, 5 lbs. 12oz., 18.5"!) Enjoy the pictures and check back often, as I will try to update this frequently to show pictures of the 3 beautiful children in my house!
