Noteworthy

** Mia has been working hard at learning to use the potty so she can wear her big girl panties and her new "princess bipers!" (pull ups). She asks to use the potty many times a day, but has only actually gone a few times. I just put her down for a nap though and she said she needed to go potty and went right away. I am so proud of her accomplishments thus far! She is still sleeping at night and naptime in her lovely new bed with zero problems. She NEVER even gets out of bed, much less leaves her room until we come and get her! She will just lay in her bed in the morning "reading" her books or singing songs. She has a pretty little voice and sings RIGHT ON KEY! it's amazing! Mia is a sweet pie and Mama's little Sugarbelle!

** Jackson is doing superb in speech therapy and his stuttering is almost completely gone! We are so pleased! He is working hard on his other things too. Jackson starts K4 (pre-kindergarten) on August 23rd, I can't believe it! Oh how I will miss him so! My baby boy is growing up!

** Jackson went to bed extra early on Saturday night and on Sunday he told us "Today I don't need a nap because my nap was hooked onto the night and I slept a long time, so I am not tired!" Pretty smart concept!

** Last night Jackson and Mia were standing on their stools at the kitchen sink washing their hands when Jackson said "Yuck! Mia has a dirty diaper!!" I was surprised and looked in her diaper to find nothing. I said "It's not dirty Jackson, she must have just tooted."
Mia exclaimed with a big dimpled smile "Myyyyyyyyy Tooooot!!!!!!!!!" Silly girl!

** Phil was taking Mia to bed last night and she was saying "No no no no no no no no no" and while this was going on Phil said "I want to read you a story" and her "No no no no OOOOKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" with a smile and sing songy voice.

** Jackson likes to spend all his time on the weekends outside with Daddy. This weekend they spent a lot of time playing soccer and working in the yard. I love watching those two together.

** Ella has a BIG open mouth smile and recognizes our voices and such now. When daddy comes home and she hears him she starts looking all around and smiling so big. She LOVES her big brother and sister talking to her too! She has rolled over a couple of times, but not consistently yet. She also reaches out to grab her toys or our faces. She grabbed her little baby doll and tossed it across her crib the other day, that was a surprise as I walked in and saw it fly through the air! She is 3 1/2 months old.
